At the end of each league players will be re-ranked according to their total score. The top 2 will be promoted and the bottom 2 demoted (probably).
New players will, whenever possible, be inserted into the leagues according to their ability. This may necessitate in 6 player leagues.
Where players are on equal points their position will be determined by the result of the match played between themselves. If they have not played each other the player responsible for organising the game will be placed below their opponent.
Where a player has offered his opponent a choice of 3 courts on different nights and none are accepted then that player can claim the points (5-0) unless he is offered an alternative.
If a player wins all his/her games 3-0, he/she may be promoted more than one league.
Players completing all their matches receive 3 bonus points.
Where a player regularly fails to play all their games or does not play a single game in the the league we assume that they would prefer to be withdrawn from the leagues. Please remember that you are wasting other people’s time if you have no intention of playing. If you then wish to be reinstated you must sign the list at the club or contact Doug. When re-entering the leagues you will be relegated by one league.
Where a player withdraws through injury any previous matches that he/she has played in that league will become void. When reinstated the injured player will normally be reintroduced in the league below the one in which they were previously competing.
